“You’ve seen them give out prizes on Daytime TV – now see the goodies they give out at night!”
Well, it’s not difficult to see what this movie is up to – time to look at another unique genre of exploitation!
First, check out the wacky – and amazingly all over the map tonally – trailer for “Game Show Models”!
Bravo To “Vinegar Syndrome” For Showcasing These “Game Show Models!”
If you are a fan of cult cinema, this is the movie for you…a story that tears the band-aid off of the seedy underbelly of Hollywood…and includes a man have sex with a woman wearing THIS mask!
OK, let’s be honest: “Game Show Models” is just another great example of 1970’s sexploitation: find a topic that you can exploit with lots of beautiful young women, tons of nudity, some goofy comedy and a bit of social commentary – it’s what Hollywood does best!
the poster for the film promises lots of fun, and that’s what the movie delivers.

“Vinegar Syndrome” has released a number of great exploitation films from the 70’s – movies that played an important role in cinema – because they showed that people just wanted to get out of the house and have some “good, clean naughty fun” in the theaters, and these movies did the trick!
If you want to see more about this film – and why wouldn’t you? Then check out my story here:
Many of these films were forgotten to time before Vinegar Syndrome brought them back for film buffs to re-discover:
“Sugar Cookies” is another example, and you can see that wacky trailer here:

Vinegar Syndrome also brought back what may just be the single most obscure cult film of all time – which I immediately bought!
“The Telephone Book” is almost impossible to describe, and here is the original theatrical poster which doesn’t help much!

As a cult movie buff, I appreciate what Vinegar Syndrome is doing to preserve these culturally fascinating films – see their entire release slate here:
